SERVICES THAT ARE INCLUDED IN OUR PRIMARY MONTHLY RATE

Bethel Assisted Living is proud to proclaim that we provide a comprehensive and unusually high assortment of resident orientated services within our primary monthly rate. A detailed description of these services is as follows:

BASIC SERVICES

' We provide twenty four hour staffing. Our staff to resident ratio is above industry standards. Bethel’s caring and compassionate staff is carefully selected for their skill and a genuine desire to care for and interact with seniors.

' Each unit includes a call system within each room including the bathroom. Individual pendants are available for additional assurances and peace of mind.

' We place heavy emphasis on our residents dining experience by furnishing three full delicious and healthy meals prepared daily by our chef.

' Daily housekeeping and laundry service is provided.

' Scheduled transportation is provided for medical and dental appointments.

' Meal reminders by our staff occur for each meal. Tray service is provided under special circumstances.

ASSISTED LIVING SERVICES

The need for the following assisted living services are determined by our trained staff during the preparation of each residents comprehensive resident assessment/appraisal/needs and services plan. We update this plan on a continuous basis.

Medications:  We will store resident’s medications in our central storage and monitoring area. Resident understands appropriate use of  medication. Resident may request staff to assist at resident’s direction.

Mobility:  We provide oversight, verbal encouragement and limited physical assistance with for those residents who need aid in ambulation with or without assistive devices.

Transferring:  For those residents who need aid in transferring and positioning our staff will provide oversight, verbal encouragement and limited physical assistance.

Bathing:  We will physically watch a resident during the bathing process. This stand-by assistance may be necessary in order to provide verbal aid as well as preventing falls and slippage.

Grooming: We will provide reminders and verbal cues to a resident during the grooming process in order to assist resident in completing their task.

Dressing: We will provide reminders and verbal cues to a resident during the dressing process in order to assist resident in completing their task.

Continence: For those residents who occasionally lose bladder/bowel control, we will provide minimum assistance with hygiene.

Eating:  Accompanied with doctors orders, our chef will prepare appropriate meals for specialized diets (such as diabetic diet). Nutritional supplements are provided when needed.

Cognitive: We will assist residents who are moderately independent, yet have difficulty making decisions in new situations.

Housekeeping: Within the course of our daily housekeeping, our staff will clean bathroom accidents which occur on an infrequent basis.
